Job Description

Hutton Brickyards Riverfront Hotel + Venue Join our fast-paced team! Welcome to Hutton Brickyards, a 100-acre Hudson River Valley resort made for getaways, weddings, and events. We are passionate about delivering curated experiences and events to our guests, providing genuine relaxation and deep connections to nature. You'll be working alongside a fast-paced team of diverse and dedicated individuals who are passionate about the guest experience. Front Office Manager The Front Office Manager is responsible for effectively leading and motivating associates, maintain departmental training/development and strict adherence to all Hutton Brickyards service standards. The right candidate will be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, have the ability to make quick decisions, and problem solve to achieve guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance with policy and financial standards. The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front office associates and direct guest relations, which includes Guest Service Agents and Night Audit. Respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints, and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Develop associate morale and ensure training of Rooms Division team. Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates, and other departments. Ensure compliance with effective training. Monitor expenses to ensure expense control and maximize profit, using checkbook accounting as a control mechanism. Conduct walk-throughs of public areas to ensure that cleanliness and maintenance standards are met. This is not a Monday thru Friday job, in fact it requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays and nights, but it is for you if you love people and have the right attitude! MEWS experience a plus. Responsibilities Ideal candidate must have at least 2-3 years Hotel Front Desk experience. Ability to promote and maintain a positive, productive work environment for all associates Detail oriented with emphasis on continuous process improvement Ability to distribute any and all information effectively, based on from other departments to the front office team to execute Ability to work independently within a framework Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests Acting Manager on duty as needed
