Neurology Practice Location:
Latham, NY Compensation:
$35.00•40.00 per hour, based on experience Our growing neurology practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Office Supervisor (LPN) to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role for an individual who enjoys supervising staff while actively participating in the day-to-day operations of a busy specialty medical practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Administrator to support clinical operations, patient service, staff development, and practice growth. This is not a desk-only management position. The ideal candidate will lead by example, actively participate in office and clinical workflows, and support staff by stepping into operational and clinical roles as needed. Responsibilities Supervise and support front-office and clinical staff Assist with daily office operations and workflow management Provide clinical support and backfill staff as needed Help ensure excellent patient service and patient flow Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance improvement Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency Partner with administration on practice growth initiatives and special projects Support compliance with practice policies and procedures Serve as a resource for staff and help resolve day-to-day operational challenges Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Minimum Qualifications Current New York State LPN license required Minimum of 3-5 years of current, directly applicable experience in a medical office supervisory, management, or leadership role Strong clinical experience in an outpatient medical setting Ability and willingness to actively participate in daily office and clinical operations, including staff backfill when needed Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, initiative, and a positive team-oriented attitude Preferred Qualifications Neurology experience Experience with neurology related referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and insurance processes Experience with staff development and performance management Experience with Medent Practice Management and Electronic Health Record systems Experience participating in operational improvements and practice growth initiatives What We're Looking For...
