Bilingual Japanese and English•Office Manager, Full-time, On-site Job location: Midtown Manhattan. An on-site position. A well-established Japanese company is currently looking for Office Manager who is fluent in Japanese and English. The job location is the office in Midtown Manhattan. This is an on-site position. Some of the minimum qualification requirements: Fluent in Japanese and English. Able to deal with the time difference to communicate with the head office and customers in Japan. Able to travel in the US, as well as to Japan as needed. Related work experience. Able to use MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams. Authorized to work in the US without a visa sponsorship. Able to start in 2 weeks if you receive a job offer. Some of the main duties and responsibilities: Manage the company's day-to-day operations in Japanese and English. Manage and supervise employees at the office in Japanese and English. Provide reports and updates to Director and President daily or as needed. Communicate with the head office and customers in Japan. Verify purchase orders and invoice. Acquire and carefully review agent and distribution agreements with U.S. manufacturing companies and suppliers. Negotiate prices and terms with U.S. manufacturers and suppliers. Travel in the US and to Japan as needed to meet with manufacturers, vendors and customers. Assist clients during their business visits in the US as needed. Oversee product quality control, and packaging, including inspection to ship products to the customers in Japan. Review the company's financial documents. Obtain export licenses.
Salary:
$65,000 to $70,000/yr max FLSA Status:
