Overview Arts & Science is seeking a talented Budget Administrator to join the Office of the Dean in LiberalStudies. This individual will administer various budget and financial support functions for Liberal Studies administration. The financialresponsibility for this position includes LS operating budgets, and internally and externally funded projects. Manage fiscal and payrolltransactions and ensure budgets are within limits. Advise faculty and staff on federal, state, University and School fiscal guidelines andrequirements and ensure compliance. Work with the Associate Dean and/or Assistant Director to develop strategies to meet program goals.
Responsibilities Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,Business, or related area.
Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience. Must includebudget administration and planning.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years experience working inHigher Education or non-profit organization.
Required Skills, Knowledge andAbilities:
Strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong ability to use Excel, database software, workflow systems, GoogleOffice Apps, and standard MS office software. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with adiverse population at all levels. Ability to supervise staff. Qualifications In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD$70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00.
