Office Administrator (Full-Time) Peekskill, NY Whitaker's Garage Door Store $52,000/year + Growth Opportunities About the
Role:
We're looking for a highly organized, goal-oriented Office Administrator to help run the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced, service-based business. This is not just an admin job—we're looking for someone who wants to grow with the company long-term, take ownership of their role, and become a key part of our team. Who you are

  • Someone who isn't afraid to learn new things. What you'll do:
  • Staff meeting planning.
  • Office and showroom organization.
  • Time management for senior office staff.
  • Employee PTO management/tracking.
  • Insurance Requests.
  • Ordering company merch/employee uniforms.
  • Quarterly company event organization (meetings and outings).
  • Answer calls and emails and assist customers with professionalism and urgency.
  • Help senior staff schedule service calls and coordinate technician routes.
  • Create invoices, estimates, and work orders.
  • Process customer payments (Stripe) and maintain financial records (QuickBooks).
  • Keep customer/job records organized in our systems.
  • Communicate with technicians to track job progress.
  • Support daily office operations and management tasks.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior office/admin experience required. Experience in a fast-paced office environment preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Workspace. Experience with QuickBooks and/or Stripe preferred (but can be taught). Bilingual (Spanish) is a major plus.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM
