Job Title:
Office Manager for International Language School We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our international language school in Akron. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our school, ensuring its smooth and efficient running. This position is open to all nationalities and we welcome applicants who are fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and handling correspondence
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of new staff members
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve office efficiency
  • Ensure the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • Handle student inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with teachers to coordinate class schedules and student enrollment
  • Manage financial records, including invoicing, payments, and budgeting
  • Organize events and workshops for students and staff members
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar role preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial records
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
