Job Description

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and operating our branch location in Rittman, OH. There are several key responsibilities of this role that assist the credit union in maintaining operations for the credit union as a whole. We view office managers as an integral part of our leadership team, directly responsible for the success of the credit union. We will begin reviewing applications and contacting for interviews the week of June 15th.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations. Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. Manage the security and safety of the branch. Examine and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis. Manage/Balance branch vault and cash orders. Conduct loan interviews. Process, approve and/or close loans. Monitor branch operations to ensure a consistent, professional approach. Assist staff or members in solving complex account problems. Provide back-up assistance in member services. This employee will consistently have a teller drawer in each day to assist primary tellers. Maintain a clean, professional workplace. Manage the regular maintenance and function of IRA accounts Act as primary employee for opening and closing member accounts as needed Assist leadership in other delegated tasks as needed Act as a key holder with the ability to open and close the branch
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A or B.S) from four-year college or university, or comparable experience in the financial industry Minimum of 3+ years experience working in credit unions or banks, or comparable experience in the non-profit or not-for-profit industry Minimum of 3+ years experience in managing employees. Must either own currently or be willing to obtain Notary Public Must either own or be willing to obtain
