Cottonwood Creek Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking an Admissions Coordinator/Business Office Manager! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, families, community partners, and referral sources—sharing our vision of compassionate patient care and guiding them through the admissions process. Alongside admissions responsibilities, you will also oversee the business office and reception areas.
Responsibilities and Purpose
Oversee all business office functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness, including patient billing, accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, patient funds, cash receipts, and census records
Monitor billing and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain records for Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay residents
Manage monthly patient billing and submit facility billing to the corporate office
Initiate and manage collections for accounts receivable
Coordinate with the facility case worker on all Medicaid resident updates
Serve as the primary contact for admission inquiries (phone and walk-in) and conduct pre-admission tours
Lead and ensure completion of all admission processes, forms, and required documentation
Collaborate with the Central Intake Team and referral sources to ensure a smooth discharge and admission process
Some weekend admissions may be required
Experience and Education
Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, & third party managed care payer sources highly preferred.
Business Development/Networking experience preferred.
Previous experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing highly preferred.
Previous experience in business office functions preferred.
1+ years of business school (including bookkeeping or accounting courses).
Knowledge of senior healthcare services, specifically Long-Term Care.
Experienced in customer service and developing relationships within the senior healthcare environment.
