Job Description

•Job Overview•Barkley House is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and versatile Office Manager to oversee our daily financial operations, administrative workflows, and order processing. In this role, you will be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring seamless cross-departmental efficiency, accounting controls, and strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys wearing multiple hats, naturally looks for ways to optimize workflows, and possesses experience in full-cycle accounting, payroll, and office administration. •Key Responsibilities•Accounting & Payroll Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Execute routine bank reconciliations Process accurate and timely payroll Review, verify, and submit financial documentation in compliance with active contracts Office Management & Operations Oversee day-to-day office operations to foster an efficient and organized work environment Cultivate, expand, and manage vendor relationships; proactively negotiate favorable terms and optimize supply chain/freight costs Maintain accurate physical and digital document libraries Client Relations Assist with orders as needed and ensure smooth order fulfillment Ensure overall data integrity across client ERP systems Provide exceptional operational support to ensure client account satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
3+ years of office management experience (accounting experience a plus)
Core Competencies:
Attention to detail, exceptional business and a proven track record of innovative problem resolution
Technical Proficiency:
Strong command of operations and accounting software
Digital Savvy:
Proficient with MS Office, vendor portals, and internet research
Education:
Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
