Job Description

Hands on Wellness seeks a positive, caring, detail-oriented administrative professional to join our team. Hands on Wellness has been providing chiropractic care to the Rogue Valley and beyond for over 20 years and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. In this role, you will run the front office of a busy chiropractic clinic, supporting four chiropractors. Duties & responsibilities: First point of contact for patients: answer the phone, greet patients, check patients in and out, take payments, answer questions about the practice, etc. Accurately perform general clerical duties such as scheduling, entering insurance information and other data, filing, report running, daily accounts reconciliation, and record keeping Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, follow HIPAA guidelines Utilize phone systems to handle incoming and outgoing calls Cross-train with Assistant Office Manager/Accounts Receivable as needed Assist off-site technical support with troubleshooting occasional hardware and software issues Managing upkeep of physical office: organization, light cleaning, directing work of office cleaners, changing air filters, ordering supplies, etc. Occasionally come in early or stay late to perform such tasks outside of patient care hours Required skills and experience Excellent attention to detail is a must Office administration experience is required, preferably in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace Basic hardware troubleshooting experience such as setting up a desktop computer Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure Medical or healthcare office management experience is a plus We offer compensation based on experience.
