Office Manager (Full-Time | Immediate Start) About ChEmpower Corporation ChEmpower Corporation is a venture-backed semiconductor materials startup based in Hillsboro, Oregon, focused on developing next-generation abrasive-free CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) solutions for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. Position Summary ChEmpower is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions while providing high-level support to the CEO and executive team. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date preferred. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, anticipates needs, drives accountability, and helps maintain operational efficiency across the organization. Key Responsibilities Support the CEO and executive team with day-to-day activities, anticipating needs and providing strategic administrative support. Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for board meetings and investor updates, including agendas, presentations, follow-ups, and tracking action items. Draft communications, presentations, and internal documentation. Attend key meetings, document meeting minutes, and track execution of action items. Manage and coordinate office operations to ensure an organized and productive work environment. Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate vendor relationships, facility maintenance, and office services. Organize company meetings, events, and travel arrangements. Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and operational best practices. Handle incoming correspondence and maintain organized filing and record systems. Support HR-related functions, including onboarding coordination, employee engagement, and timekeeping administration. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Serve as a liaison across internal teams and external partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of professional administrative or office management experience. Prior experience supporting senior executives and/or working within a fast-growing startup environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. Preferred Skills Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to independently manage priorities for executive leadership. Strong organizational, multitasking, and project coordination skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to execute accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude. Comfortable operating in a dynamic startup environment with evolving priorities. Experience with budgeting, reporting, or process improvement initiatives is a plus. Familiarity with HR processes and labor law fundamentals is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related business software tools.
