This role balances front desk reception, office management, and HR responsibilities, serving as a key resource for staff, visitors, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist visitors; manage phones, emails, and general inquiries Oversee office operations including supplies, scheduling, and recordkeeping Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee orientation Maintain personnel files, HRIS data, and compliance documentation Assist with payroll, benefits coordination, and leave tracking Provide administrative support to leadership and program staff Foster positive employee relations by addressing staff questions and supporting HR initiatives Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and applicable regulations All other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate:
Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization. Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced office environment. Professional, approachable, and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Experience in office administration and human resources preferred. Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws, including FMLA and OSHA regulations. Proficient in project management principles to successfully plan and execute HR initiatives. Skilled in HR sourcing strategies and social media management to support recruitment efforts. Familiarity with HR software, with ADP experience preferred. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with common office software and HR systems. Highly organized, with keen attention to detail for accurate data collection and reporting. Collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and able to work independently.
