Job Description

Job Summary Al-Huda School is a private non-profit Islamic educational institution located in Camp Hill, PA. We strive to provide quality Islamic education for preschool through 12th grade. Our mission is to develop well-rounded students inspired by Islamic principles, excellent academics, and extracurricular activities while seeking to prepare our students to live a God-centered life rooted in the teachings of the Quran and authentic sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Degree/Diploma with relevant experience Knowledge and experience of the Internet, Proficiency in using technology, including Google applications, video conferencing, and the internet. Knowledge of purchasing, accounting, and bookkeeping procedures Financial, accounting, and budgeting skills Strong Communication Skills Strong Interpersonal Skills Time management, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
General Office Management:
Ensuring the smooth operation of the school office. Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace. Assisting with the preparation of materials for meetings and events. Helping with the onboarding of new staff and substitutes.
Communication and Reception:
Answering phones, managing emails, and handling mail. Welcoming visitors and providing information. Managing school correspondence and communications. Making public address announcements as needed.
Record Keeping and Data Management:
Maintaining student records and ensuring accuracy. Managing attendance records and reporting absences. Assisting with the preparation and distribution of school reports and newsletters. Using IT systems for administrative tasks.
Operational Support:
Managing school supplies and ordering resources. Assisting with the scheduling of school events, meetings, and assemblies. Providing support to teachers and other staff members. Coordinating with the school nurse and other staff on student health matters. Monitoring and managing lost and found items. Ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations.
Financial and Budgetary Tasks:
Keeping financial records and Processing invoices and handling petty cash.
