Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee the financial, billing, and administrative operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing, strong revenue cycle performance, regulatory compliance, and effective support of admissions and census growth. Top 5 Responsibilities Billing & Revenue Cycle Management Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing, including insurance verification, authorizations, claims submission, and follow-up on denials and appeals. Accounts Receivable & Collections Monitor A/R aging, manage collections, oversee private pay billing and resident trust accounts, and communicate with residents and families regarding balances. Payroll & HR Administration Process payroll and timekeeping, manage new hire onboarding, employee records, and benefits coordination while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Compliance & Audits Maintain compliance with CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and state regulations; prepare documentation for surveys, audits, and payor reviews. Admissions & Census Support Partner with Admissions and MDS teams to ensure financial clearance, accurate payor capture, and optimized reimbursement and census mix. Top 3 Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of Business Office or Billing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting. Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and SNF revenue cycle processes. Experience with SNF systems such as PointClickCare, MatrixCare, or similar EMR/billing platforms.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
