City of Sunbury Job Description Office Manager Job Summary :
The Office Manager of the Municipal Authority City of Sunbury shall supervise the general affairs of the business office of the Authority and assist the General Manager. Education /
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management. 2. Minimum of five (5) years' supervisory experience. 3. Computer experience - Must have a working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Programs. 4. Strong financial background. 5. Strong Communication Skills. 6. Experience in Human Resources and Accounting.
Reporting Responsibility :
General Manager Job Responsibilities:
Supervise office personnel with all day-to-day office processes as necessary. Manage/oversee authority benefits and insurances. Thorough knowledge of all Human Resource processing duties related to onboarding and offboarding Authority personnel, including healthcare, insurances, CDL and licenses etc. Thorough knowledge of all the Accounts Payable functions of the Authority. Thorough knowledge of all Authority Accounting Reports (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Trial Balances, etc.). Maintain and preserve accounting and business records as required by law, government agencies, and Authority policies. Administer computer-related hardware and software needs of the office. Administer, coordinate, and monitor all Administration Center building needs - (Cleaning, Ground keeping, Maintenance, Service Agreements etc.) Administer assistance with Grant paperwork and report filings. Assist with accounting year-end closing process and Financial Audit as needed. Prepare month-end reports when required. Supervise the purchasing of all supplies and materials for the general office and departments. Maintain a professional image in the presence of the public. Pursue relevant continuing education on an ongoing basis or as directed. Ensure that employees get ongoing training related to their job duties and responsibilities. Assist the General Manager as directed when needed. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
