Description:
We are looking for an office administrator to complete administrative tasks and provide support for our sales and management staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, confident, and poised, and enjoy interacting with people. This role works closely with our sales staff and branch management. M. Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Scan and organize mill certs Check incoming vendor invoices for discrepancies Match vendor invoices with bills of lading to prepare for receiving into the system Ensure incoming paperwork is processed in a timely manner Invoice shipped customer orders and transfers Assist with answering incoming phone calls Ensure truck fuel receipts are separated by truck, and mileage is recorded on each receipt Ensure Big Road e-logging is being done consistently by each driver Process credit card payments from customers Provide administrative support, including general document filing Assist with HR-related tasks, such as assisting with onboarding and gathering personnel paperwork as requested. Ordering supplies when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and reliable Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The ability to alternate between sitting and standing Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years' experience in office administration
