Job Description:
Assistant Office Manager We are currently seeking candidates for an Assistant Office Manager role with a leading telecommunications company located in Boston, MA. The Assistant Office Manager will support daily office operations, serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, and help maintain a professional and organized office environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of office administration (internships included), office management, or reception experience. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. This is a 6-month contract position paying $25-$28/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming calls. Greet and assist visitors and guests. Maintain conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas. Coordinate office maintenance and vendor requests. Order and track office supplies. Manage mail, packages, and deliveries. Assist with meetings, events, and board activities. Provide administrative support to leadership as needed. Deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors. Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-2+ years of office administration, office management, or reception experience (internships included). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in a professional office environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
