The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking to hire an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Manager. The EPMO Manager is responsible for the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects managed through the Enterprise Project Management Office in support of the strategic business goals and objectives of the American Nurses Enterprise (ANE). Responsible for continuous process improvements in all areas of ANE's project management discipline and working with EPMO Director to implement changes. Manages a team of Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of projects, following industry recognized best practices, standards and processes, adhering toANA EPMO
standards. Responsible for ensuring the Project Management team has the required skills and knowledge to successfully support the IT portfolio. Collaborates with EPMO Director and IT leadership on strategic planning, resource management and allocation, financial and other types of planning and reporting. Responsible for status reporting to a variety of audiences including stakeholders, EPMO, IT and ANE Executive Leadership. Assists EPMO leadership with the management of the EPMO function including but not limited to providing oversight of the IT portfolio including resource planning and allocation of internal and external staff, portfolio risk management, financial management, vendor management, managing the development and submission of standard EPMO reports, and leading portfolio level meetings. Ensures all work within the team follows IT portfolio and EPMO governance standards, including Enterprise leadership decision support systems. Leads project managers and manages the EPMO project management functions implementing and adhering to industry and ANA best practices including all applicable reporting, documentation, and artifacts. Ensures that all work conducted on projects meets ANA standards. Manages projects as assigned and adheres toANA EPMO
standards throughout the lifecycle of the projects. Identifies opportunities to improve organizational efficiency and makes recommendations to EPMO Director as appropriate. Works with EPMO Director on continuous improvement and enhancement of the project management disciplines within the EPMO, IT and ANA Enterprise. Performs other duties as assigned. What you bring to theAmerican Nurses Enterprise:
Education Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science or similar). PMP Certification Related Work Experience 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibilities including managing multifunctional projects, project management office functions, strategic planning, risk assessment and management 5+ years' supervisory experience with both direct and indirect reports 3+ years of communications experience with all types of audiences including internal and external project team members, stakeholders, and executives. Diverse business experience with expertise in operational, financial and technology areas Skills Extensive experience in managing multifunctional projects, project management office functions, strategic planning, risk assessment and management.
