Roanoke Valley Elevator Inspection, LLC is seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join our team in our newly opened office located in Blue Ridge, VA. We are seeking an individual who is motivated, articulate, and well organized to join our expanding elevation inspection admin team. The desired candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients, assisting RVEI staff with daily operations, and contribute to the overall organization of the office. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook). Advanced skills in Excel preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize work based on importance
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer support skills Strong typing skills with high accuracy; ability to perform data entry efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 50Lbs as needed for light office duties
- Experience in Service Fusion is a plus but not required
Job Duties:
- Manage front desk responsibilities, operate phone system effectively and appropriately with professional phone etiquette.
- Responsible for managing the general email inbox and responding to customer inquiries or routing to the appropriate party to handle.
- Onboarding new clients; responsible for collecting data that will be entered into our system for scheduling and billing
- Backup to our Dispatch Coordinator and Billing Coordinator, as needed
- Maintaining organized filing systems, including digital files using Microsoft Office tools, Dropbox and Service Fusion.
- Assisting staff with projects and other tasks as needed Job type: Full time.
To maintain benefits and full-time status with our company we require a minimum of 36 hours a week. Guaranteed 40 hours a week.
Hours:
Required office hours Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Unpaid lunch up to 1 hour. No weekends. This position is required to work in person at our office, however, we do provide a laptop for the ability to work from home in the event of an emergency. We understand weather, emergencies and life happens. Approval of this option is at the sole discretion of the Owner or Director on site.
Compensation:
Starting pay $16
- 18 an hour based on experience.
Annual rises based on performance.
