Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager / Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Chicago office while supporting internal projects and company initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can effectively manage both administrative and project-related responsibilities. The successful candidate must be based in the Chicago area and willing to work from the office at least two days per week. Key Responsibilities - Office Management Oversee all day-to-day office operations and ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Manage office supplies, equipment, vendors, and service providers. Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and facility-related needs. Organize meetings, team events, and in-office activities. Maintain office policies, procedures, and operational standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related matters. Project Management Coordinate and track internal projects from initiation through completion. Create and maintain project timelines, deliverables, and action items. Facilitate communication across teams and stakeholders. Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential roadblocks. Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for leadership. Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies. Administrative Support Assist leadership with scheduling, coordination, and special projects. Manage documentation, records, and organizational systems. Support onboarding and general employee experience initiatives. Handle ad hoc operational and administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in office management, project coordination, operations, or a similar role. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools. Must be located in the Chicago area and willing to work in-office two days per week. Preferred Experience working in a professional services environment. Legal industry experience is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Experience supporting executives or managing cross-functional projects.
