The Office Manager will primarily focus on supporting the team and the organization with financial operations support, compliance, and administrative and operational functions. This position calls for a dynamic individual with strong communication skills, flexibility, a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate is highly literate in the use of technology and identifying new approaches to problem solving. This is a hybrid work environment with some in-office support as needed.Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice tracking, payment coordination, and maintaining accurate records in coordination with our external bookkeeper. Maintain budget tracking spreadsheets and prepare summaries for leadership review. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including corporate documents and records. Assist in the preparation of governmental compliance records and licensure. Work closely with President and CEO and other senior staff on administrative and executive support functions. Maintain personnel records and update personnel policies and procedures, as needed. Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, executive assistant, or similar role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, QuickBooks and other office software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Should deploy emotionally intelligent approaches in dealing with both clients and colleagues—understanding and managing emotions to foster effective interactions. Ability to problem-solve and proactively identify and address organizational challenges, in concert with organizational leadership. Understanding diverse backgrounds and fostering an inclusive environment through cultural competence. Minimum 5 years experience in comparable roles (i.e. executive assistant, office manager, business manager, or operations manager).Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field 3-5 years working with Tribes, Tribal Programs, Nonprofits and/or Alaska Native Corporations.What We Offer:
