Office Manager - Transportation & Operations Candler, NC Job Details Full-time $40,000 - $50,000 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications Phone communication Logistics Administrative experience Dispatching Team management Staff training Office management Full Job Description About Us Elite Global Transportation is a growing luxury transportation company serving the Asheville area and beyond. Our fleet includes sedans, SUVs, sprinters, minicoaches, and motorcoaches , supporting everything from executive travel to large group transportation. We are currently restructuring and building a strong internal team—and we're looking for an Office Manager who can take ownership of daily operations and bring structure, accountability, and consistency to the business. Position Overview This is not a passive administrative role. We are looking for someone who can run the office , manage staff, oversee reservations and dispatch coordination, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You will work directly with ownership and leadership to: Keep operations running smoothly Hold staff accountable Ensure all trips are properly booked, assigned, and executed Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management Oversee daily office operations (reservations, dispatch coordination, driver communication) Ensure all trips are properly entered, confirmed, and assigned Monitor schedules and resolve coverage gaps in real time Maintain organization across emails, systems, and trip logs Staff Oversight Supervise reservationists and dispatch staff (including overseas team members) Enforce accountability, productivity, and response times Assist with training new hires on systems and workflows Act as the main point of contact for operational questions Client & Trip Management Review incoming trip requests and ensure proper handling Confirm pricing accuracy and adherence to company policies Maintain high standards of communication with clients and affiliates Administrative & Systems Manage email inboxes and ensure timely responses Work within transportation software (experience with Limo Anywhere is a plus) Track and report on operational performance issues
Qualifications Required:
2+ years in office management, operations, dispatch, or administrative leadership Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage people and enforce structure Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and internal team coordination)
Preferred:
Experience in transportation, logistics, or limousine industry Familiarity with dispatch systems or reservation platforms Experience managing remote or overseas team members Work Schedule Primary office hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-site) Rotating weekend coverage required (remote) Occasional after-hours availability for operational support What We're Looking For Someone who: Takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do Notices problems and fixes them Can manage both people and processes Brings structure to a growing company Compensation & Growth Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to grow into a senior operations role Direct impact on company structure and success How to Apply Please apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief note about your experience managing operations or teams.
