Job Description

PT - Office Administrator/Assistant Valleywide Logistics, Inc is a last-mile delivery company that contracts with one of the largest online retailers in the world! We are currently seeking a PT Administrator to assist with all administrative and logistical tasks to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently while maintaining organization. Duties will include customer service, management of all company documentation, email correspondence, HR-related tasks and support of the Operations team. This is an hourly, part-time position that has the potential to convert to full-time in the future. Responsibilities Email correspondence and appropriate follow-up Preparing company documents and maintaining employee records Paying outstanding invoices Assisting the Operations Management team with any associated admin tasks (ex: uploading driver schedules, running reports, contacting vendors) Ordering office supplies Maintaining uniform inventory Reviewing timecards and correcting errors on a biweekly payroll schedule (ADP) Submitting and tracking insurance claims when necessary Assisting with job posting boards, scheduling and conducting driver interviews, onboarding new-hires Preparing documents or files for annual company audits and unemployment claims Qualifications Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written Detail oriented and organized A self-starter, who does not need to be micromanaged Willingness to wear multiple hats and be a team player (we are a small business so sometimes helping 'where needed' is necessary) Problem solving skills Familiarity with the following programs is a plus: Word, Google sheets/Excel, ADP What we offer $20-23 per hour 401K with employer match Health benefits for FT employees PTO for all employees A tight-knit, supportive work environment The position will be 15-25 hours per week with some ability to work remote. We work out of Surprise, AZ (Litchfield & Waddell). For the right candidate, the working hours/shift is negotiable. We are more interested in finding someone who fits with our team and can meet the expectations of the job, than we are on the exact shift. Our operation runs 7 days per week from 7:30am to 8:30pm.
