Working closely with senior leadership, business owners, technology teams, and project team members, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with excellence. Essential Duties / Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Collaborate with executive leaders, business owners, and technology teams to define project direction, scope, and strategic objectives. Own timelines, resourcing, and coordination for larger cross-functional projects and initiatives. Establish success metrics and KPIs in alignment with project strategy and organizational goals. Monitor project performance, track key milestones, and identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct project retrospectives to capture lessons learned and improve future delivery. Communication & Stakeholder Management Develop a cadence of communication for each project to ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned. Provide consistent project status updates, including progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes. Foster collaboration and transparency across leadership, technology, operations, pharmacy, sales, and other business teams. Build consensus across stakeholders to maintain momentum and drive decision-making. Process Improvement & Governance Implement methodologies, processes, and best practices to improve project execution and maximize stakeholder value. Identify risks and dependencies early and communicate proactively to support timely resolution. Work closely with the Managing Director of the PMO to develop sustainable programs and consistent project processes. Support change management efforts and help teams adopt new tools, workflows, and ways of working. Promote project governance, documentation, and standardization across the PMO. Vendor, Budget & Performance Oversight Partner with technology and operational teams on vendor selection and management. Work closely with vendors to ensure deliverables meet contractual expectations. Oversee project budgets and ensure work remains on schedule and within budget. Track project data and performance trends to support data-driven decisions. Ensure projects remain aligned to organizational priorities and financial expectations. Required Skills / Abilities Leadership & Collaboration Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and hold teams accountable. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build consensus across different teams and stakeholders. Ability to work effectively with executive leaders and cross-functional partners. Project Management Expertise Strong project planning, prioritization, and resource allocation skills. Experience managing multiple projects in agile, waterfall, or hybrid environments. Solid understanding of project budgets, forecasting costs, and financial tracking. Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions. Experience with project management, process improvement, and change management methodologies.
Technical / Analytical
Skills Solid understanding of software development processes, technologies, and platforms to communicate effectively with engineering teams. Ability to track KPIs, analyze data, and use insights to inform project decisions. Understanding of UX principles and the ability to review and provide feedback on user flows and interfaces. Understanding of user needs, pain points, and behaviors to improve processes and outcomes. Tools & Systems Proficiency in project planning and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Teams, and related software. Ability to organize project documentation, reports, and work plans in a structured and accessible way.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in project management. PMP or equivalent certification preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office, Teams, Smartsheet, Jira, or project-related software. Preferred Skills / Abilities Prior experience in the pharmacy, PBM, pharmaceutical, or managed healthcare industry preferred. Understanding of pharmacy industry compliance and regulations is an asset. Work Environment Home-based office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse conditions.
