REQUIREMENTS
(Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities) Education A high school diploma/GED equivalent is required for this position. Experience A minimum of one year of experience in office administration is required. Experience with licensing & permit is preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities This person must possess above-average written and oral communication skills. Basic skillset utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are required. Must be able to multitask while efficiently prioritizing.
ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS
Responsibilities Answer phones and direct callers to the appropriate department(s). Provide general support to visitors Collect and distribute daily mail Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies, coffee service, copier supplies, etc. Responsible for submitting all maintenance requests for the office. Crosstrain with other departments to provide backfill support as needed Assist operations team with Subcontractor pay Track and update Certificate of insurance Assist with filling, renewal and maintain permits and license for the SC location Provide monthly updates to the HR team regarding office events Coordinate planning and organizing company events Produce or assist in other projects and areas as needed Keeping the breakroom clean and keeping up with the supplies Relationships with Others Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with administration/management. Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with other Hallway Plumbing employees. Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with external contacts. Coordinates with all other employees in a manner that maximizes overall business effectiveness. Physical Demands Lifts 25 pounds from the floor to waist level and can carry such objects for at least 50 feet. Judgment & Decision Making Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning regarding the daily administration of all functions and activities associated with this position. Demonstrates good judgment in providing information and advice regarding top priorities and important issues. Demonstrates good judgment regarding escalating issues, which are beyond the scope and control of this position in a timely manner. Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of customer and company information. Seeking guidance and direction from appropriate members within the organization as may be required in the performance of responsibilities and duties. Planning & Time Utilization Consistently demonstrates the ability to recognize and deal with priorities in a manner related to high-level administrative activities and duties. Uses available time during any workday in a wise and productive manner to maximize work efficiency. Spends reasonable additional time beyond normal working hours as may be required to meet project demands. Reads, responds, and acts daily on all emails received.
