This vital role combines overseeing daily office functions, managing sales activities, and ensuring seamless communication across teams. Responsibilities Manage daily office operations, including front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, filing, and general clerical tasks to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee scheduling management for staff appointments, installations, meetings, and events, coordinating calendars effectively to maximize productivity. Supervise vendor management activities, including maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries of supplies and services. Oversee bookkeeping and budgeting processes to monitor expenses, prepare financial reports, and ensure fiscal responsibility across departments. Plan and coordinate events or promotional activities that enhance brand visibility and community engagement. Ensure excellent communication skills are demonstrated through professional phone etiquette and clear internal communication to foster a positive work environment. Oversee daily sales operations and manage a team of sales professionals. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed company goals. Provide expert advice to customers on flooring products, options, and installation methods. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer information using QuickBooks. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and customers to drive business growth. Qualifications Proven experience in office management or administrative roles Supervising experience in team leadership or project coordination is highly desirable. Proficiency in QuickBooks for estimating and bookkeeping tasks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and schedule management. Proven experience in sales and management within the flooring industry (products, installation, etc.). Comprehensive knowledge of flooring materials, installation processes, and industry trends. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional business or management education preferred.
