Job Description
Dakota Dental 4 Kids is excited to be opening a brand new location in Sioux Falls! We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new dental practice in Sioux Falls. The Office Manager is responsible for leading administrative and business functions, supporting team performance, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, and maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily front office and administrative operations Lead, coach, and support office staff to maintain a positive team culture Manage patient scheduling, office flow, and operational efficiency Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and financial performance Verify compliance with office policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Coordinate staff schedules and payroll support Monitor inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships Address patient concerns and ensure a high level of customer service Support treatment acceptance and financial discussions with patients Generate and review reports related to production, collections, and office goals Collaborate with providers to support practice growth and operational success Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous dental office management experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and treatment coordination Experience with dental practice management software Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Experience in pediatric or multi-provider dental practices preferred Bilingual skills are a plus Experience with HR processes, scheduling, and operational reporting preferred Skills & Competencies Leadership and team development Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Financial and operational management Excellent interpersonal communication Attention to detail and organizational excellence Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient satisfaction and practice success Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to occasionally move or lift office supplies up to 25 pounds Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Continuing education and professional development opportunities Bonus or incentive opportunities Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday
