Office Administrator -
Propane Company About Us:
Join our team at Admiral Propane, a family owned propane provider. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to fill the position of Office Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working with people, and have a passion for customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by answering calls, responding to inquiries, and assisting customers with propane-related services. Balance daily cash receipts and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Handle customer transactions, including billing, payments, and addressing any service issues. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring propane levels, and managing fill station. Perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing, and preparing documentation. Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as invoicing, data entry, and reconciling accounts (accounting experience a plus). Handle general office tasks to support daily operations of the business. Some work on Saturdays in January, February and March (once or twice a month) from 8 AM to 12 PM. Participate in on-the-job paid training to enhance your skills and knowledge. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in customer service or office administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Accounting experience is a plus. Ability to work Saturdays in the winter as needed.
