Job Description

Office Manager General Description The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the office while supporting company leadership and project teams through organized systems, communication, documentation, and operational coordination. This role ensures efficient office functionality, maintains administrative processes, and supports internal operations to help projects and staff operate effectively. The individual in this role is expected to uphold MCH Builders' standards of professionalism, organization, communication, and accountability at all times.

Non-Exempt Starting Pay Range:
$20-$23 Per Hour Employment Status Part-Time 20-30 Hours per week
Monday-Friday Reports To:
Owner / Director Required Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in office administration or related field preferred. At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities Oversees the daily workflow of administrative processes, assigning responsibilities to ensure efficient administrative operations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies. Assists clerical and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required. Prepares agendas, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars for senior management. Oversees telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Maintains office supplies inventory. Maintains records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files. Performs other related duties as assigned. Competency Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment. Proficient with Apple/Microsoft/Google programs and software. Physical Demands Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Frequent phone and computer use throughout the day Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Work Environment Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
