Job Description
Job Overview We are a small, hands-on family business looking for a reliable and motivated Office Manager to keep our operations running smoothly. You will be the backbone of our office, handling day-to-day administrative tasks across our construction projects, cattle operations, corporate fuel management, and rental unit businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to work directly with the business owners every day, and is looking for long-term growth in a real business environment. Key Responsibilities Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4pm Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks Handle bookkeeping and financial records using QuickBooks (invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, etc.) Coordinate scheduling, communications, and record-keeping for construction, cattle, fuel and rental unit activities Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for contracts, permits, vendor agreements, and compliance documents Assist with payroll preparation, expense tracking, and basic financial reporting Order office supplies and manage vendor relationships Support the owners with special projects and day-to-day business needs Answer phones, respond to customer and tenant inquiries, and provide excellent service What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (this is required) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience in a small business or multi-industry environment is a big plus Construction, agriculture, or property management background is helpful but not required Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working directly with the owners daily What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility as the company expands Direct daily collaboration with the business owners - you'll gain real insight into how a successful multi-faceted business operates Stable, long-term role in a family-oriented environment Hands-on learning across construction, cattle, corporate fuel management and real estate/storage operations If you're a proactive, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, varied role and wants to grow with a solid family business, we'd love to hear from you.
