The Hilton Austin Airport is looking for a Front Office Manager to help lead the team! This position reports to the General Manager and helps oversee a team of between 15-20 ppl. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy leader who has experience in a high-volume operation and a talent for mentoring others. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience Front Office management experience. Knowledge of PEP is preferred.Who We Are:
The recently refreshed Hilton is located in the historic Air Force command building right on Austin-Bergstrom International Airport property. We are proud to be Austin's gateway full-service hotel. The hotel is managed by Pittsburgh, PA based Prospera Hospitality, with over 20 years of property management experience in hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.What You'll Do:
As Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Oversee all Front Office operations, including guest check-in/check-out, room inventory, service standards, quality control, cost management, systems usage, budgeting, forecasting, and policy enforcement. Lead, schedule, train, and develop Front Office team members through coaching, performance evaluations, counseling, and recognition. Monitor guest service and satisfaction trends, address service gaps, and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience. Ensure compliance with all company and brand standards, policies, and procedures. Actively engage with guests, respond to inquiries and concerns, resolve complaints, and manage guest recovery efforts, including brand Guest Alerts. Drive revenue through effective up-selling strategies and ensure team knowledge of hotel services, amenities, pricing, and local attractions. Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members and complete audit and operational controls as assigned.Requirements:
1 to 3 years hospitality related experience, including front desk operations experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.What You'll Receive:
This position will pay $65,000.00 to start, with scheduled annual increases based on performance. Healthcare benefits are available, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
