Thursday:
7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional Fridays as needed Position Overview The Office Manager serves as the operational leader of the practice and is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, supporting team development, optimizing office performance, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every patient. This role requires a strong leader who can balance people management, patient satisfaction, scheduling efficiency, and financial performance while maintaining the positive culture that defines our practice. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and support administrative and clinical team members Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and mentorship Promote effective communication between doctors and staff Practice Operations Oversee daily office operations and workflow efficiency Ensure productive scheduling and optimal patient flow Monitor key performance indicators and practice goals Develop and implement systems that improve office efficiency and patient satisfaction Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies Financial Management Monitor production, collections, and accounts receivable Assist with treatment acceptance and financial discussions Review reports and identify opportunities for growth and improvement Support insurance and billing processes Help drive practice performance and operational success Patient Experience Ensure every patient receives exceptional customer service Address patient concerns professionally and effectively Support patient retention and relationship-building initiatives Create a welcoming, positive experience for patients and team members alike Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of dental office management experience required Strong understanding of dental insurance, billing, scheduling, and practice operations Experience managing production and collection goals Proven leadership and team development skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience with dental practice management software preferred What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: A positive and motivating leader Passionate about building and maintaining a strong team culture Highly organized and detail-oriented Results-driven with a patient-first mindset Professional, adaptable, and solution-focused Committed to helping both the practice and team members succeed Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Paid time off and paid holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative team environment Four-day work week with occasional Fridays Long-term career growth potential Why You'll Love Working Here At Balcones Family Dental, we genuinely enjoy working together.
