Senior Pastor The Church Office Administrator provides administrative leadership and operational support for the church office. This position serves as a primary point of communication for members, visitors, staff, and the community while ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and scheduling of church facilities. The Office Administrator helps create a welcoming, organized, and professional environment that supports the church's mission and ministries. Duties Administrative Leadership Manage daily church office operations and maintain regular office hours. Provide administrative support to pastor, ministry leaders, and church staff. Maintain church records, membership databases, attendance records, and confidential files. Coordinate calendars, appointments, meetings, and church events. Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, forms, and ministry materials. Order and maintain office supplies and equipment. Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial documentation as assigned. Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for church communications by phone, email, mail, and in-person inquiries. Welcome and assist church members, guests, and community visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Prepare and distribute weekly church announcements, newsletters, bulletins, and other church publications. Assist Social Media Coordinator in maintaining and updating church communication platforms, including the website, email systems. Coordinate communication between church staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and congregation members. Manage church-wide email communications and event notifications. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in all church communications. Produce and edit weekly church e-newsletter. Facility Oversight Responsibilities Coordinate the scheduling and use of church facilities for worship services, ministry activities, weddings, funerals, meetings, and community events. Maintain and manage the church facility calendar to prevent scheduling conflicts. Serve as the primary contact for facility usage requests and rental inquiries. Conduct regular inspections of church facilities and report maintenance, repair, and safety concerns. Monitor facility access, security procedures, and key management systems. Assist in developing and implementing facility use policies and procedures. Maintain records related to facility maintenance, inspections, warranties, and service contracts. Volunteer and Ministry Support Recruit, coordinate, and support office volunteers as needed. Provide administrative assistance to ministry teams and church committees. Assist with event planning, registration, and logistical coordination. Support church leadership in accomplishing ministry goals and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of the church. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Experience in office administration, nonprofit administration, or church administration preferred.

From $18.00 per hour
