Job Description

Survey Office Administrator Full-Time | Land Surveying Company Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Survey Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our growing land surveying company. This position serves as the central point of communication between clients, office staff, and field crews while ensuring projects move efficiently from initial inquiry through final delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in surveying, construction, engineering, title, or real estate is beneficial but not required. Key Responsibilities Client & Customer Service Answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service Coordinate appointments and project consultations Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, engineers, title companies, and government agencies Project Administration Open and maintain project files Track project schedules and deadlines Coordinate project information between office staff and field crews Monitor project status and communicate updates to clients Office Operations Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email, and deliveries Maintain digital and physical filing systems Order office supplies and equipment Support company leadership with administrative tasks Accounting & Billing Support Prepare invoices and process payments Assist with accounts receivable collections Experience with QuickBooks is a plus Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office software Ability to handle confidential information professionally Strong attention to detail and accuracy Preferred 2+ years of administrative or office management experience Experience in land surveying, engineering, construction, title, or real estate industries QuickBooks experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) Advancement opportunities within a growing company
Expected Pay Range:
$18-$24 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00
