Business Office Manager Hospice Bridge Hospice - 3.1 Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time From $52,000 a year 21 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Expense management Operations coordination Attention to detail Healthcare practice operations management Office management Full Job Description We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and office operations of our hospice organization. This role is responsible for supporting financial processes, human resources coordination, payroll and personnel file oversight, intake and administrative workflow management, office systems, vendor coordination, and ensuring smooth operational support for clinical and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and committed to professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service. Hospice or healthcare experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Oversee daily office and administrative operations of the hospice agency Maintain organization and compliance of employee personnel and HR files Assist with onboarding, credential tracking, background checks, and employee documentation Coordinate payroll-related items, timekeeping, PTO tracking, and communication with payroll vendors or internal accounting teams Support accounts payable, invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor management Assist leadership with budgeting support, operational reporting, and administrative workflows Ensure office compliance with company policies, Medicare requirements, and regulatory documentation standards Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and facility-related needs Support intake, admissions, scheduling, and referral workflow processes as needed Serve as an administrative liaison between leadership, clinical staff, vendors, and external partners Maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, and company information Assist with preparation for audits, surveys, and compliance reviews Support implementation and maintenance of operational systems and process improvements Participate in leadership meetings and provide operational support to the Administrator and Director of Nursing Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in hospice, home health, healthcare administration, or medical office management preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience with payroll, HR coordination, office operations, or healthcare administration preferred Knowledge of hospice operations, Medicare regulations, or EMR systems preferred Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and confidentiality Compensation Salary dependent on experience, qualifications, and hospice/healthcare background.
Starting Salary Range:
