Salary Range :
$60,918 - $67,450 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Resume is required Cover Letter is preferred Job Details Job Summary The Senior Project Manager provides advanced project management leadership, strategic coordination, and operational expertise necessary to analyze, organize, coordinate, and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in support of initiatives in the Office of the President and institutional priorities. This role is responsible for leading projects from initiation through implementation and closeout, including the development and execution of project plans, timelines, communication strategies, risk mitigation plans, and stakeholder engagement activities. The position manages all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, resources, deliverables, change management, and performance monitoring, and ensures projects are completed on time and aligned with institutional objectives. This role requires strong project governance, facilitation, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership. This position helps ensure alignment, progress, and operational effectiveness across cross-functional initiatives and serves as a key partner in driving strategic priorities and organizational effectiveness. Core Responsibilities Develop and implement projects, activities, and tools to assist with the coordination and communication of business operations. Lead and manage multiple complex projects and strategic initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and executive leadership objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risk assessments, and communication plans. Track project status and generate reports for management review. Prepare and deliver executive-level project updates, dashboards, presentations, and status reports for leadership and stakeholders. Provide support to assigned university committees by attending meetings, drafting meeting summaries, and managing timelines and deliverables. Develop action plans, engage team members, and manage the rollout of assigned projects. Track project status, milestones, and deliverables; prepare updates and reports for leadership review. Identify and analyze issues, risks, and interdependencies, determine improvements, and escalate issues when appropriate. Proactively identify project risks, barriers, and competing priorities; develop mitigation strategies and facilitate resolution of issues impacting project success. Resolve issues and manage changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Assist with procurement of necessary materials and equipment and associated budget management. Coordinate workflows, forms, and requests in support of project execution and business operations. Process forms and requests as needed in support of business operations. Collaborate with business analysts, departmental leaders, and stakeholders to support implementation planning, change management, and initiative execution. Maintain project files, records, and support documentation. Establish and maintain project documentation, governance structures, meeting cadences, decision logs, and project management best practices. Prepare surveys, studies, reports, and associated correspondence as required. Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and organizational outcomes. Manage client activity, including database entry of activities performed, preparing reports, and monitoring goal activity. Utilize project management software and reporting tools to monitor progress, manage workflows, and support data-informed decision-making. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Three (3) years of related work experience including project management/coordination, planning, and tracking of high-level initiatives and events. This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
