We try to help the good guys and chase the bad guys, and this includes but is not limited to high-stakes litigation. Our firm represents both individuals and businesses and works on both the plaintiff and defense side of the docket. We are a tight-knit, small firm and this position reports to 3-4 people. The work environment is fast-paced and requires constant multi-tasking. Initiative, willingness to learn and strong interpersonal skills are essential for this position. We are willing to train a person with little to no prior experience in the legal setting if that person has hustle, smarts, and toughness to learn fast and receive constructive feedback. We offer competitive compensation, a monthly health insurance stipend, paid holidays, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, monthly gym membership reimbursement (up to $50.00 per month), and a congenial work environment. Duties Receive all potential client and client calls Schedule consultation appointments for potential clients Communicate by phone and email with clients to provide updates General maintenance of the office (including scanning and maintaining client documents, communicating with office vendors, monitoring and purchasing of supplies, and other functions regarding general office upkeep) Utilize firm billing platform to generate invoices and monthly bills and send to clients Skills Strong organizational, oral/written communication, critical thinking, and time management abilities. You will be busy, and the position is fast paced. Technology proficient, including Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to type moderately fast without excessive mistakes Qualifications High school diploma or its equivalent Some college education or undergraduate degree preferred Must want to work hard, take pride in work, be a self-starter, and take initiative Must care about quality above and beyond the bare minimum
