Job Description
Aurora Organic Dairy is hiring for a Farm Office Manager for our Dairy in TX. Office Manager The Farm Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily office work including assistance to employees on the farm, orientation for new hires, feed and cattle data.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring completion of the following: Review and process all invoices for approval from manager Provide data input of cattle information into PCDart and enter feed information using TMR Tracker Complete daily DTD and HTD reports and provide documentation as needed Maintain and complete all organic records and reconciliations in a timely manner Obtain and organize incoming or outgoing animal documentation and records reconciliation Provide assistance with organizing meetings, vet checks, inventory or other requests as needed Facilitate new hire orientation, assign required training, complete all new hire paperwork for HR Complete documentation for payroll Month End reports as needed (Maintenance reports/fuel/compost/supplies/cafo updates) Other duties as assigned.Other Required Duties:
Assist Farm Manager and supervisors in ensuring new hires are welcome and get acclimated to their work environment Assist Truck drivers as they come in with loads Provide customer service to visitors, applicants, guestsKnowledge and Experience:
High School or GED required Bilingual (Spanish) Required Computer skills, use of Microsoft Office, knowledge in Excel is a must Experience in agriculture preferred Minimum 1-2 years' experience in office environment preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years in a lead or supervisor rolePhysical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; be able to bend, stoop, kneel or crawl; reach grasp and lift up to 25lbs occasionally.
