  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Business Office Manager to join our healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will support the efficient operation of the medical office by overseeing billing, coding, and administrative functions. Your expertise will ensure accurate medical records management, seamless insurance claims processing, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-functioning healthcare environment while developing your skills in medical coding, billing, and office management. Duties Assist in managing the daily operations of the business office, including billing, collections, and patient account management Support the preparation and submission of insurance claims, verifying that all documentation aligns with payer requirements Maintain and update electronic health record (EHR) systems and electronic medical record (EMR) systems with accurate patient information Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, and assist in resolving billing discrepancies Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and coding standards while maintaining confidentiality of medical records and patient information Assist the business office manager in day to day tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in a medical office setting with a focus on billing and administrative support Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards Familiarity CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems, and medical billing processes Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and other healthcare software applications Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and data entry Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff, patients, insurance companies, and vendors Knowledge of medical collection procedures and insurance claim submission protocols Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services!
