Job Description
SUMMARY The Office Manager will support the daily administrative operations of our crating and packaging department. This role is responsible for coordinating office functions, assisting with scheduling and documentation for crating projects, maintaining communication between customers and shop personnel, and helping ensure smooth workflow throughout the department. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment supporting export packaging and logistics operations. Job Duties Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks for the crating department. Coordinate communication between customers, vendors, drivers, and crating shop personnel. Assist with scheduling incoming and outgoing projects, deliveries, and shipments. Prepare and maintain shipping paperwork, export documentation, work orders, invoices, and customer files. Track project status and maintain accurate records for crating and packaging jobs. Support warehouse and crating operations by assisting with inventory records and material tracking. Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide professional customer service. Maintain organized filing systems and operational records. Order office supplies and assist with purchasing administrative needs for the department. Support management with reporting, data entry, and special projects. General office and administrative tasks may be included. Requirements Previous office management or administrative experience preferred. Experience in logistics, warehousing, shipping, packaging, or transportation environments is a plus. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Good communication skills with employees, customers, and vendors. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed. Must be able to pass a drug screen upon hire as well as random periodic screenings. Must have a clean driving record and be 21 years old or older for insurability purposes.
