Job Description:
Office Manager (Arlington, VA) We're seeking a highly motivated and adaptable professional who takes pride in creating a well-run, welcoming, and energized workplace. This is a hands-on, highly visible role where you'll play a key part in supporting daily operations and shaping the overall experience of the office. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly-from managing vendors and coordinating workspace logistics to supporting team needs and welcoming guests. Success in this role comes from a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a willingness to step in wherever needed.
What You'll Do:
Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative workflows to support seamless business operations Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, creating a professional and welcoming experience Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery Oversee workspace coordination, including seating, access, and maintenance needs Maintain an organized, clean, and functional office environment, including shared spaces such as kitchens and common areas Support onboarding logistics to ensure new team members are set up for success from day one Assist with office safety, security, and access protocols Plan and support internal meetings, events, and team engagement initiatives Track operational expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency Contribute to space planning as the organization grows and evolves Step in wherever needed-approaching all tasks with accountability, follow-through, and attention to detail
Who You Are:
Proactive and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership Positive, approachable, and comfortable working across teams and with external partners Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities effectively Comfortable in a hands-on role where responsibilities can shift day-to-day Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and maintain professionalism Someone who takes pride in creating an environment where others can do their best work
