The Senior Operations Manager is a mission-critical leadership role within the Office of the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), responsible for strengthening enterprise performance across growth, strategy, and technology. This position functions as a strategic integrator and operational catalyst—ensuring the CGO's priorities are executed with discipline, transparency, and speed. The role requires exceptional judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence across a complex, matrixed organization. The Senior Operations Manager reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
Key Contributions and Impact:
  • Serve as a principal advisor and trusted strategic partner to the Chief Growth Officer, ensuring alignment and disciplined advancement of the CGO's enterprise agenda.
  • Act as the CGO's primary operational liaison to senior leaders across GDIT, enabling coordinated execution and unified direction on growth, strategy, and technology initiatives.
  • Bring high emotional intelligence, strong analytical acumen, and exceptional communication skills to anticipate organizational needs, inform executive decision-making, and drive clarity across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with the Growth leadership team to design, operationalize, and advance initiatives spanning daily operational requirements to long-range strategic imperatives.
  • Lead and refine the operating rhythm of the CGO Office, driving high-impact executive engagements, structured priority setting, efficient decision flow, and accountability across workstreams.
  • Oversee operational execution with precision—identifying risks early, removing barriers to progress, escalating issues strategically, and maintaining momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Maintain a real-time enterprise view of all growth and strategy initiatives to enhance visibility, transparency, and informed decision-making for senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate operational performance and champion innovative solutions—such as enterprise-level dashboards and performance tools—to improve transparency, efficiency, and outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level materials, including strategic briefings, decision documents, and engagement packages that distill complex information into concise, actionable insights.

Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
10+ years supporting senior executives
Technical Skills:
MS Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, SharePoint and AI Fluency Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance US Citizenship required
Required Abilities:
Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment in handling highly sensitive issues
Preferred Experience:
Department of War, Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security, civilian agencies, or emerging technology within a CTO‑level organization

The likely salary range for this position is $155,550 - $210,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
