Job Description:
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations. streamlining workflows and managing administrative functions so other employees and volunteers can work productively. And isa public face for the church.
Lines of Accountability:
The Office Manager will provide clerical assistance to the Staff and congregation in this priority: Pastor, Associate Pastor, Clerk of Session. Church Treasurer, Accountant, Session Committee Chairs. and church members The Office Manager is employed by the DUPC Session and is directly supervised by the Pastor/Head of Staff who is assisted by the Chair of the Administrative Committee or his/her representative. When DUPC is without a Pastor, the Chair of the Administrative Committee will assume the role as direct supervisor, assisted by the Clerk of Session.
Requirements:
Have an excellent command of Microsoft Office suite of tools Proficiency in using digital document management systems Maintain personal discretion concerning information about the Church's life and ministry shared in the normal flow of staff relations. Maintain confidentiality. Maintain professionalism in all interactions Continue professional education to maintain and grow job skills Part-time work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Annual performance evaluations will be conducted by the Head of Staff and the Chair of the Administration Committee.
Responsibilities:
Serve as administrative assistant to the Pastors Support the overall ministry of DUPC with clerical support Print and assemble worship service bulletins Prepare digital elements for worship and other services (e.g. PowerPoint, vMix) Print, assemble, and distribute DUPC monthly newsletter Print and assemble Session and other meeting materials as requested Answer telephone and serve as DUPC receptionist and church facilitator Maintain and organize hard files, sort and distribute mail, and order office supplies Maintain church office and workspace in a clean and orderly manner Manage business credit and petty cash accounts Maintain all documentation in the document management system (Dropbox) Operate DUPC office equipment and instruct others as needed. Monitor monthly copier/printer usage and alert Session/Staff of potential print overages Act as primary point of contact for site contracts, i.e. phones, copier, internet, etc. Update church calendar daily to DUPC's website Post documents, photographs, and sermons to DUPC's website Maintain DUPC church membership database in the online church directory Update and manage the website and digital sign Serve as an ambassador for Church activities Other duties as needed or communicated by the Pastor/Head of-

$22.00 per hour
