ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Plans, schedules and performs routine building inspections. Provides for quality assurance and quality control measures and implements work processes to correct facility deficiencies in accordance with applicable safety standards. Maintains and monitors inventory of furniture and office equipment; collaborates with staff and building managers at all Human Services facilities on difficult issues and makes decisions on exceptional situations to manage and implement appropriate services and assistance. Evaluates resource needs and coordinates with divisional leadership for the effective deployment of resources; maintains electronic records and files of services and maintenance activities; monitors work orders, service requests and quality assurance programs; responds to staff inquiries and complaints regarding facilities. Participates on departmental management teams to provide input into the development and implementation of departmental policies; assists with strategic planning, research, and special projects. Serves as the Human Services Department's liaison to local agencies related to building maintenance activities. Remains abreast of federal, state and City facility and security guidelines. Performs other work as assigned.
