Job Description

This position is Monday
  • Friday 8:30 am
  • 5:00 pm with rotating Saturdays 8:30 am
  • Noon.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Office Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating and directing work flow and functions of personnel to facilitate safe and efficient work flow and practices. Ability to operationalize, solve problems, make decisions and develop systems and processes for successful integration and implementation. Seeks guidance from management for unusual or unanticipated circumstances that require deviation from financial/operational policies and standards of practice. Reports to the designatedManager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, develops and organizes services and activities to support medical practices. Provides timely and appropriate resolution to patient, customer, physician, personnel, vendor and organizational concerns or complaints. Provides leadership and guidance to support daily operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
None required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
College degree in a related field and/or 3
  • 5 years healthcare/management experience preferred.
Possess excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to plan, supervise, establish and maintain a professional work environment. Ability to identify problems and implement solutions for daily operations. Interpersonal and leadership skills necessary to supervise and delegate tasks to personnel. Technical and professional knowledge unique to the business and/or clinical operations of the designated services (Financial, Human Resource, Information Systems, Risk, Governance, Regulations, Planning and Marketing). Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal patient care environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Frequent exposure to communicable disease and moderately adverse working conditions due to performance of certain patient care activities.
