The Dowd Agency is a leading independent insurance agency specializing in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to businesses of all sizes. Our commitment to exceptional client service and our deep industry knowledge set us apart in the market. We are currently seeking an experienced OfficeAccount Manager to join our Vermont team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and insurance requirements. Manage the renewal process for personal or commercial accounts, including preparing quotes, negotiating terms, and presenting options to clients. Collaborate with underwriters and Account Executives to ensure optimal coverage and pricing for our clients. Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise. Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and product offerings to provide informed recommendations. Assist in identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base. Prepare and present reports on account performance and client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of commercial or personal insurance account management experience Active insurance license Strong knowledge of commercial or personal lines products Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability Experience with Applied Epic is a big plus
