Salary Range:
$65,000 - $82,500 Rigorous Technology is a fast-growing robotics company with a mission to automate non-creative tasks, helping manufacturers streamline operations and improve efficiency. We design, prototype, build, and install industrial robotic systems that support small to medium-sized manufacturers across the U.S. Our proprietary RGS Studio software library enables advanced manipulation and control, continually pushing the boundaries of automation. Job Description:
The Office Manager will manage day-to-day business operations at Rigorous. You will be a critical member of the leadership team and work closely with the VP of Product to support HR, administration, and project management activities. The Office Manager will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional. Great planning, communication, and organizational skills are necessary for success. You'll work primarily in the Williston robot lab or other Rigorous offices.
Responsibilities:
People & Culture Full-Cycle HR:
Own recruiting, hiring, and the "Day 1" experience for new hires.
Growth & Feedback:
Partner with managers to facilitate 1:1s, performance reviews, and professional development tracking.
Payroll:
Run payroll, manage employee PTO, employeedepartment time tracking, and benefits administration.
Office:
Set the tone for a professional yet high-energy workspace. Manage team calendar. Coordinate team and visitor events, procure office supplies and snacks, plan team events. Customer & Vendor Pipeline
Vendor & Customer Management:
Be the point of contact for our external partners, including onboarding. Send invoices, purchase orders, payments, remittances, and late payment notifications.
Inventory & Purchasing:
Manage procurement across various projects. Log receipts and update inventory, procurement, and bookkeeping software accordingly. Facilities & Administration
IT:
Ensure our team has the tools they need. This includes provisioning hardware (laptopsbackup systems), maintaining asset lists, wifi management, software user administration, phone system management.
Facilities:
Work with contractors and landlords to obtain and maintain our facilities and grounds.
Compliance:
Manage legal requirements, employee policies, insurance renewals, maintain records, and document SOPs.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify gaps in our efficiency and fill them.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Compliance, andor General Administration. Typically possessing a business education andor experience in a technical or industrial industry. Familiarity with tech stack (or similar software systems): Gusto, Ramp, Quickbooks, Clicktime, Airtable, Jira, Excel, LastPass, and benefits provider platforms like Employee Navigator. Exceptional work ethic, ability to work independently or collaboratively, motivation to meet deadlines and exceed performance requirements. Detail-oriented, analytical mindset. Confident yet humble approach to work. Motivation to increase skills, experience, and industry knowledge over time. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
