We are a team oriented, family business located on Bainbridge Island, WA. Quality, Value & Integrity are just some of the characteristics we are looking for in our new Office Manager/Bookkeeper . We need a team player with great energy who can wear as many hats as needed. A high level of integrity and discretion is required when handling confidential and sensitive information. Responsibilities:
Bookkeeper Learn and understand specific accounting software Post & provide updated job progress information (estimates & costs) Prepare customer invoices and accounts receivable reports Prepare and make deposits Prepare and maintain payroll and personnel records Monitor and maintain all corporate insurance Reconcile bank statements Process payables Compute and submit all quarterly, yearly tax reports Maintain all job files Work closely with customers to maintain positive relationships while closely monitoring project records. Office Manager Greet office guests Answer all incoming calls Customer/client relations Receive and process incoming mail Maintain and shop for office supplies Manage all company accounts Oversee office equipment maintenance Prepare routine correspondence and documentation Regularly meet with owners to review documents and company direction
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and planning skills with a high attention to detail Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize daily activities and multi-task The ability to work well in a team environment and independently Ability to work in an office with pets (dogs) Exude a positive and professional demeanor Excellent attendance and punctuality required Previous experience in construction industry a plus Extensive knowledge of an Accounting System and Microsoft Suite products Bachelor's or Associates Degree and 2+ years' experience in accounting
