Job Description:
Office Manager Divergent Physical Therapy is seeking a highly organized, professional, and experienced Office Manager to lead our administrative and operational functions in Bellingham. At a
Glance Role Type:
Part-time (10-20 hours per week) Independent Contractors welcome to apply.
Schedule:
Between 11AM-4PM, Mon-Fri, specific hours based on clinic needs
Compensation:
$25.00/hour
Location:
1433 N State St, Bellingham, WA. Primary Responsibilities1. Practice & Operations Management .
Patient Experience:
Ensure the front desk operation maintains a warm, professional first point of contact, managing scheduling, appointment flow, and patient intake processes.
Records & EMR:
Assist Physical Therapist with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) intake and maintenance processes, ensuring accurate and timely chart management and reporting to meet insurance requirements. 2.
Financial & Compliance Oversight Accounting:
Manage monthly QuickBooks reconciliations, generate Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and coordinate quarterly tax filings.
Billing & Insurance:
Coordinate insurance and billing processes with billing partners, track accounts receivable, and manage payor contracting documentation.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all patient documentation meets HIPAA standards and adhere to the Employee Code of Conduct and relevant labor laws.
Compensation & Growth Breaks:
Entitled to one 15-minute paid rest break every 4 hours and a 30-minute unpaid meal break if a shift is four or more hours
Pay Structure:
Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit (as employee) or paper check (as contractor)
Review Process:
Formal performance review following an initial probationary period, with quarterly performance reviews thereafter.

Requirements & Compliance Experience:
Office Management or Administrative work experience preferred
Skills:
Ability to manage schedules, multitask, problem-solve, and lead a small team.
Onboarding:
Offer is contingent upon signing a HIPAA compliance agreement and adhering to the Employee Code of Conduct handbook.
Location Requirement:
This is an on-site position at the Bellingham clinic.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
