Overview Join our dynamic team as an Office Administrator/Bookkeeper, where you will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and ensuring accurate financial management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and administrative support to contribute to our organization's success. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellence in both office administration and bookkeeping functions. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations, including correspondence, scheduling, and supply procurement to ensure efficiency and organization. Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Perform bookkeeping duties including journal entries, account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to support financial integrity. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining precise records. Conduct bank reconciliations and manage payroll processing with attention to detail and accuracy. Assist with budgeting activities. Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms; familiarity with technical accounting concepts is a plus. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and budgeting processes will set candidates apart.
